Lexunity may undertake reasonable conflict checks before accepting or continuing an engagement.

If a conflict of interest arises or is identified, the Firm may decline, restrict or terminate the engagement to the extent permitted by applicable law and professional rules.

The Firm may also decline a matter where accepting or continuing the engagement would create a professional, ethical or legal restriction.

20. REFUND AND CANCELLATION

Cancellation and refund requests shall be governed by Lexunity's applicable Cancellation/Refund Policy, as published or communicated to the Client.

Where professional work has already commenced, the refund, if any, may depend upon the stage and nature of work performed.

No refund shall be construed as being automatically available merely because the Client is dissatisfied with a legal opinion, strategy, professional assessment or anticipated outcome, provided the contracted professional service has been duly performed.

Court fees, government charges, third-party expenses and other amounts already paid or incurred on behalf of the Client may be non-refundable where such amounts cannot reasonably be recovered.
